Rock stars are
known for their excesses, but Led Zeppelin’s guitar player,
Jimmy Page, reluctantly admits
his
limitations. The British newspaper The Guardian reported
that Page had to slow down his most expensive hobby:
collecting pre-Raphaelite art works and will sell his
enormous tapestry of the Holy Grail.
Page’s friend, Raul Reeves, told the newspaper that Page has
not enough space on his walls for the tapestry in any of his
many houses. According to Reeves, Sotherby’s auctioneer will
sell the tapestry by painter Edward Burn-Jones. They expect
to raise the price up to one million pounds.
Page will also sell other art works inspired by King Arthur.

If your love of
rock and pop music is married to a sense of exploration, the
annual South by Southwest Festival is heaven. Last week,
some 1,700 acts and bands performed at 80 venues here over
four days and nights. You checked into your hotel and you
wandered, and soon you learned that while the recording
industry may be in chaos, there's plenty of music that
continues to thrill.

Rachael Ray cooked up a rock 'n' roll bash in Austin, Texas
– drawing revelers to the
annual
South by Southwest music festival. While Ray served up food,
her husband's band, the Cringe, provided the music. Cusimano
even gave his wife a shout-out from the stage. At one point,
he told the crowd, "I wrote this next song about my wife,
called 'Burn,' but it doesn’t have anything to do with her
cooking," prompting laughter from the packed club. Later in
Cringe's set, Cusimano was joined by surprise musical guest
Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top who jumped onstage, grabbed his
guitar and just started playing along, going into full-out
rock mode. The crowd went wild, and Ray danced and cheered
near the front of the stage.

The cask was donated by the distillery, and arrived in the
Manne workshop earlier this year still drenched with the
complex peat-smoke aromas that are the hallmark of this

basic plug-and-play attitude of a world-class, 100-watt

to make it the most flexible amp in its class, not to

How about guitar
picks made from meteorites? Will they make your
guitar-playing sound better? Will
they
give you a meteoric improvement? Naturally, they are priced
more than your standard cheap picks.
Each meteorite guitar pick is custom-made. The process goes
as follows: Each pick is cut from meteorite material, then
custom-shaped, ground and polished - and on request
Meteorite Guitar Picks also do custom engraving. Because the
entire process for each pick takes between 5-7 hours, they
are not as cheap as your typical pick. But they are very
unique -- you'll be the talk of the party!
